It is named the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium. The stadium will also become a community hub with parks, cafes, and a mall, thus giving something back to the community.
The first match to take place at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium will be on the evening of the 21st of November, where the USA will face Wales. Other draws include Japan vs Costa Rica, and a much-anticipated clash between Wales and England. Qatar 2022 will be the first time the World Cup has been held in an Arab nation, and also the first hosting of the tournament in the months of November and December.
