The format of the tournament will consist of a group stage, in which 32 teams will be placed into 8 groups (A-H). Each team will then play a single game against each of the other 3 teams in their group, similarly to other international competitions. Once the group stage has concluded, the top two teams from each group will progress to the knockout stage, starting with the round of 16 and culminating in the final showdown. Known for its vast sporting venues and its rapidly growing football fanbase, they are the perfect destination for this landmark event. 12 stadiums have been chosen to host the 63 matches that will be taking place. Some of the most iconic of these include the Rose Bowl Stadium, the MetLife Stadium, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and Hard Rock Stadium. The Rose Bowl is one of America's most impressive venues, with a capacity of around 90,000. It has hosted multiple historical tournaments, including the Super Bowl, as well as the 1994 World Cup final and 1999 women's World Cup final. Known for its architecture and cutting edge technology, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium is also a fan favourite. In this tournament in particular, the MetLife Stadium and Hard Rock Stadium will play a significant role. Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium will be the opening venue for the 2025 Club World Cup in a game between Inter Miami CF and Al Ahly FC, whilst the MetLife Stadium will host the Final on July 13th.
